Jody Greenlee, RN, BSN – Chief Executive Officer 

Jody earned a BSN degree from the University of Kentucky College of Nursing.   Jody worked in pediatric hematology and neonatal intensive care.   In 2000, Jody retired to foster two medically fragile Guatemalan children.  Jody served as Board President of Children of the Americas (an international medical relief nonprofit) for 7 years, then as Vice President.  Since 2000, Jody has traveled to provide medical and humanitarian services in the rural mountains of Guatemala.  Jody also serves on the Neighborhood Association’s Executive Board.  As founder and Executive Director of Finding Freedom through Friendship (FFF), Jody is passionate about providing services to impoverished women and children in emerging countries.  (Member since 2010)

Marguerite Doyle – Middle East Director & CFO 

Marguerite was born into a missionary family in Sudan.  Marguerite Doyle graduated top of her class with a master’s degree in electrical engineering and computer science, a field predominantly dominated by men in America.  After an impressive 35-year career at IBM and Lexmark, she decided to focus on her philanthropic passion for improving women’s lives.  Marguerite demonstrates Christ’s word and love by ensuring individuals receive holistic support.  She centralizes her life around sharing Christ’s love through faith and service.

Her passion and dedication to alleviating poverty through sustainable and scalable social services emanate from her intimate knowledge of how culture, religion, color, social status, prejudices, and discrimination can negatively impact individuals, society, and women.  (Member since 2017)

Rae Ella House – Marketing Manager 

Rae has been the CEO of Creative Marketing in Lexington, KY, since 1984.  Rae’s visionary ideas and striking executions have stunned her customers and garnered several prestigious awards.   FFF is honored to have such an accomplished professional in advertising, marketing materials, promotional strategies, and web design.   Her compassion and dedication are deep and genuine.  (Member since 2014)

Mary Kay Hall, RN – Board Member

Mary Kay graduated from Samuel Merritt Hospital School of Nursing in Oakland, CA, in 1976 and earned her BSN at EKU in 1992.  Her experience includes psychiatric nursing, ER, and ICU nursing.  She discovered Guatemala on a mission trip in 2007.  Although she has not been able to return, she continues to volunteer and fundraise for FFF.  Mary Kay has excellent organizational skills and is known for her compassionate spirit and interest in making a difference in the lives of those in need.  (Member since 2010)

Raafat Girgis – Board Member 

The Delta Presbytery of the Synod of the Nile in Egypt ordained Raafat in 1982.  He received three more degrees after working and studying in several ministries in Egypt and the USA.  He is the lead pastor for New Rehoboth-Greenville and Pisgah Presbyterian Churches in PA.  He also chairs the Presbytery Outreach Commission.  Raafat believes in innovations that serve the “least among us” by building bridges and bringing renewal and growth to the sanctuary and the community.  He networks internationally to pursue partnerships for justice and peace.  (Member since 2021)

Erin Young – Board Member 

Erin received her International Montessori teaching certificate from the North American Montessori Center in 2009 and graduated from Walden University in 2014 with a BS in Early Childhood Development.  Before venturing into the corporate world, she taught Montessori Preschool for 6 years.  She has worked at Humana Inc. for the past 7 years, developing her leadership and process improvement skills.  Erin hopes that her passion and awareness for children’s well-being can help further enrich the lives of the families of Finding Freedom Through Friendship.  (Member since 2022)

Ann Kitchen – Board Member 

Ann graduated with a BSIE and an MBA in Marketing.  She worked for over twenty years in a corporate organization.  In 2006, she adopted a daughter from Guatemala.  Ann and her daughter have traveled numerous times to Guatemala to visit their daughter’s birth and foster families.  They also went on several compassionate missions in Guatemala.  Ann loves to travel, volunteers for the Multiple Sclerosis Society, and fosters Chow Chows that need a quiet place to rehabilitate.  Her empathy for Guatemala and its people drives Ann to improve participants’ quality of life in the FFF program.  (Member since 2022)

Nagwa Ahlborg – Board Member 

Nagwa was born in Egypt and immigrated to the USA at age fourteen.  She holds a BS degree in Electrical Engineering and a master’s degree in Business Administration.  With four children, three boys and a girl, Nagwa stayed home to care for them.   Yet, Nagwa always remained active in her community and local schools.   Nagwa served as the school’s PTA treasurer for 20 years.   She also served on the Richfield Parks Board and her Church’s Council.  She has deep compassion for people experiencing poverty.   Since 2010, Nagwa has managed and coordinated the soup kitchen in Akron, Ohio.  Her empathy towards the less fortunate inspired Nagwa to accept an FFF board position.  (Member since 2022)

Lisa Anfous – Board Member 

Lisa Anfous, a Lexington, KY resident, graduated in 1987 with an associate’s degree in business.  She is a mother of two young adults and has spent her career in banking.  Lisa is fluent in Arabic and has traveled to several Middle Eastern countries.   Lisa has a home in Palestine, where her extended family resides.  Lisa knows Middle Eastern women and has a deep compassion for helping those who struggle for survival.  Lisa offers the board culture, strategic focus, effectiveness, and financial sustainability.  (Member since 2022)

Betsy Anderson, RN – Board Member 

Betsy graduated with an associate degree in nursing in 2001, and since then, she has worked in Medical Intensive Care Units for the last 15 years.  Betsy went on her first medical mission in 2003, where she fell in love with Guatemala and its people.  Since then, Betsy has been to Guatemala more than 25 times, providing nursing care to rural Mayan women and children.  Betsy aims to improve healthcare accessibility through preventive care and support health education.  Betsy brings cultural awareness, compassion, and long-standing experience in nursing care for disadvantaged people.  (Member since 2023)

Susi Fabeiro Quinteiro – Board Member

Susi graduated with degrees in Art History and Art Restoration. She also earned certificates in Early Childhood and Primary Education and a master’s degree in the neuroscience of learning. Her professional experience includes teaching and administrative work at El Ardal school in Madrid, where she developed insights into how children learn and thrive. As a native Spanish speaker, Susi brings essential language skills that enable direct communication with families and partners and expand the tutoring program in Guatemala.

Susi understands women’s resilience and strength in the face of economic hardship. Growing up in Galicia, a region with limited economic opportunities, she witnessed women left to manage households, farms, livestock, and children. At the same time, their husbands worked as sailors or sought employment abroad.  Her appreciation for female empowerment through education aligns with FFF’s mission to foster self-sufficiency and break cycles of poverty.   (Member since 2025)

Marci Renée Nelson-Foucault – Director of Strawberry Girls Program

Marci is an author, coach, public speaker, and founder of The Strawberry Girls organization, using storytelling and art to expose human trafficking and exploitation. As a published author of six memoirs and creative non-fiction books, plus seven children’s picture books, Marci is passionate about giving voice to the “Silent Ones.” For six years, she has served as an Arabic translator in Spanish government-run safe houses, working directly with survivors of trafficking. Fluent in English, French, and Moroccan Arabic, Marci brings essential linguistic and cultural expertise.  Marci is living in Spain with her husband and four sons.

Marci is a certified language teacher with a bachelor’s degree in French Language, Literature, and Education.   Marci has a master’s degree in Cross-Cultural Studies.

Marci’s work with Moroccan women trafficked to Spanish strawberry fields led to the creation of The Strawberry Girls book and movement, dedicated to “Habiba,” the first survivor she met. Her exceptional ability to deliver emotionally authentic storytelling creates deep empathy that translates into concrete action and support for trafficking victims. Marci’s cross-cultural competence, combined with her work among refugees and immigrants, positions her to expand FFF’s anti-trafficking efforts and amplify the voices of exploited women worldwide. Timothy (Timber) Cleghorn – Tajikistan Program Director

Timber Cleghorn grew up on a remote farm with no modern conveniences, developing survival skills that would shape his extraordinary life of service. As a contestant on the History Channel’s “Alone: Arctic Circle,” where he survived 83 days in harsh conditions, Timber demonstrated the resilience that characterizes his humanitarian work. His adventures have taken him around the world on dangerous missions, from climbing unnamed mountain peaks in Asia to dodging missiles in Ukraine, where he began his mission work helping orphans. Fluent in Tajik and passionate about serving the most vulnerable populations, Timber joined FFF in 2025 to launch the organization’s Widow Program in Tajikistan. 

His extraordinary compassion extends to all individuals in war zones, particularly women and children who have been left without husbands in devastated communities. Timber’s faith in Christ serves as the foundation for the hope he delivers to forsaken people in these countries. (Member since 2025)
